you belong somewhere you feel free
Welcome to Wildflower
Wildflower is the nervous system literacy platform for families.
We help overwhelmed caregivers and overstimulated children find inner peace. Through movement, makership, and mindful connection - we help you disconnect from the noise and reconnect with yourself.
Our model builds awareness, cultivates understanding, and offers embodied experiences that allow us to move through life with presence, resilience, and compassion.
We prioritize you as much as we do your littles.
Born from the need for a third space that nourishes the caregiver as much as the child, Wildflower is founded on the belief that movement and creativity are essential to the emotional health of kids and grown ups alike.
As caregivers, we often spend our time investing in the well-being of the people we love most: our children and our families.
While there is deep gratitude for this profound privilege, it can come at the expense of the time we need to connect with and invest in ourselves. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Our mission is simple.
To cultivate resilience & compassion in our children, caregivers, and community - nurtured through the daily practices of movement, makership, and mindfulness
The Wildflower Philosophy
Our approach is rooted in science that demonstrates the foundational role emotional regulation plays in nurturing healthy relationships, strong families, and vibrant communities.
at Wildflower, resilience and compassion are the goal. movement and makership are the practice.
Emotional regulation is the ability to understand and adjust our emotional response to external stimuli, so that we remain aligned to our goals and values rather than being dictated by impulse.
When we learn to emotionally regulate ourselves, we engage the brain’s center for reflection, problem-solving, and self-control; allowing us to pause, process, and respond with intention.
More about the science
For children, this skill lays the groundwork for healthy brain development, learning, and emotional flexibility. For adults, it allows us to acknowledge and honor our feelings without being consumed by them.
Data shows that when caregivers are given the time and tools to regulate their own nervous systems, children benefit through co-regulation, increased security, and positive long-term outcomes.
Why it matters
We are social beings. Our emotional state is not only driven by our own feelings and circumstances - but by what is happening within our families, communities, and the world around us. Individual well-being is strengthened through shared practice.
Both movement and creative expression activate the neural pathways that support stress reduction, emotional processing, and resilience. At Wildflower, we weave these evidence-based approaches into every class: intentional movement to help the body process energy, and mindful makership that serves to cultivate creative expression.
The benefits of this practice are profound. When we are emotionally strong, we bring greater empathy, creativity, and stability to our relationships, workplaces, and the spaces we all share. Practiced together, it becomes a collective force — supporting each person to live with joy and purpose, which allows the whole community to truly flourish.
Collective well-being begins with inner peace
Monthly Caregiver Workshops
The best way to understand emotional regulation is to experience it. Wildflower hosts monthly workshops at pop-up locations around San Antonio. Every workshop holds the opportunity for caregivers to move, make, and connect with one another. All workshops are intentionally aligned to our natural world above and below us - to remind us that we are not apart from nature, but rather a part of nature.
How we practice the Wildflower Way
On-site After School Enrichment
Our after-school enrichment program offers children a space to grow through a thoughtful blend of movement, mindfulness, and creative expression. Each session is designed to support nervous system regulation, build awareness, and foster compassion for themselves and others. Over the course of the semester, children learn how to navigate big feelings, develop resilience, and trust their inner voice.
Private & Corporate Events
Wildflower curates bespoke experiences for teams, organizations, and private groups seeking to step away from the daily noise and reconnect with themselves and one another. Each event is thoughtfully designed to regulate the nervous system, foster meaningful connection, and invite presence back into the room. Guests leave feeling restored, with practical tools for navigating stress, deepening self-awareness, and showing up more fully — at home, in work, and in life.
SEL Workshops for Educators
Wildflower provides Social-Emotional Learning workshops designed specifically for educators. These sessions equip teachers and school staff with practical tools to manage stress, regulate their nervous systems, and create more supportive, emotionally attuned classroom environments. Through guided breathwork, simple movement, and accessible frameworks, participants learn strategies they can use both personally and professionally to help improve classroom dynamics, student engagement, and overall well-being.
Monthly Workshops for Caregivers
We are excited to bring the Wildflower Way to the community through a monthly pop-up model.

Upcoming Pop-Ups
Inhale & Ignite: April 16, 6-9 PM
Join Wildflower for Inhale & Ignite: an intimate evening of breathwork, reiki, and bonfire ritual that embraces and celebrates the Aries season we are joyfully experiencing. Light your inner fire as we feel into this time of ignition and initiation, of forward momentum and life force rising.
In yogic philosophy, the word “prana” signals life force. energy. vitality. The body is alive with it. Breath is how we move it. We breathe to clear the path. We breathe to open our hearts. We breathe to remember ourselves.
April’s incredible facilitators, Courtney Morris and Jenny Little, will be on hand to guide us through a breath circle and reiki energy work. Together these ancient practices are designed to move prana throughout the body and redirect this energy in ways that serve and support our highest selves. At Wildflower, our goal as always is to deliver embodied experiences through daily practices of movement, makership, and mindfulness that bring you back to yourself. This month, there is not a more powerful opportunity to experience these two practices in harmony together.
Following breath & reiki, we will relax with light bites and sips around a bonfire under the stars. An intention setting and release ritual will be available for anyone feeling called to it. Fire, like our breath, has the power to transform. This is an invitation to strike a match and light the flame within yourself. It is the courage, to begin again.

Root & Rise: March 20th, 2026
Welcome the Spring Equinox with Wildflower!
Marking the exact moment when the Sun’s path aligns directly with the Earth’s equator and casting equal light to both hemispheres - the Equinox has been celebrated for centuries as a signal of Spring’s coming resurgence. Astrologically, it is the moment the sun passes into Aries (the first sign) representing the Zodiac new year.
Themes of renewal abound, and yet the full flourish of spring is yet to arrive. But signs of life abundant. The energy that went dormant during the winter months in order to rest and restore is now finding its way towards the light. The sprouts of seeds that were planted last season are peeking through the soil. We are experiencing firsthand the sacred duality of life that is found in the balance of light and dark.
This month’s workshop features two incredible facilitators. Meredith Wadsworth, a Boston-based CTY 750hr and ceramic artist (and the sister of Wildflower’s founder!) will lead us in a grounding and joyful yoga flow. Designed to embody the theme of duality, we will practice rooting into our poses in order to expand and rise through our practice. Hosted in a beautiful outdoor setting, this flow is intended to foster deep connection to the self.
Following movement, we will be guided by local San Antonio sculptor Dani Becknell as she takes us on a journey of hand-building with clay. Born from humble earth, softened with water, lifted by air, and transformed by fire - clay reminds us that creation is elemental. At the end of the workshop, your piece will be fired by Dani so that you may keep it as a reminder of your ability to transform. To rise from your roots, and grow through what shapes you.
All Wildflower events are BYO mat + water. All other materials provided. Catered breakfast & crafted mocktails served throughout. Book Early - this event will sell out!
Align & Allow: February 19th, 2026
In January, we asked: What are we ready to release? Where is our attention being called? What conditions need to exist to cultivate our dreams?
February signals a step over the threshold. A shift from letting go, to moving forward. Momentum is returning, and we are guided not by urgency, but by an embodied alignment to the truest version of ourselves.
Join us as we practice allowing what the universe has designed for each of us to unfold with gentle clarity. To allow is to trust. To show conviction in our ambitions, and compassion for our present ability. To honor the time and space we need to root, before anything blooms. Now is the time to grant permission to take up space, to find joy, to laugh loudly, and to prioritize ourselves.
February at Wildflower is therefore about aligning to our inner compass, and allowing ourselves to experience the duality of life fully. To be both open and boundaried. Kind and clear. Soft and unshakeable.
We begin the evening with a playful yoga flow to align body, breath, and intention. Guided by RYT 500-HR instructor Shannon Crow, we invite you to come to this practice to meet and honor yourself where you are, and to have some fun!
Following movement, we will shift into a makership workshop with professional jewelry designer Sofia Ramsay. Here we allow our intuition to take the lead - it is not about skill or perfection, but rather about agency and embodied meaning. Leave with a wearable piece designed for you, by you - an intimate totem to remind you of your infinite strength and vitality.
All Wildflower events are BYO mat + water. All other materials provided. Light bites & refreshments served throughout.
Move & Manifest: January 22nd, 2026
Join us for this beautiful opportunity to begin again. In the Chinese Zodiac, February 17 2026 celebrates the Lunar New Year, the year of the Horse. Our first workshop is intentionally and optimally timed in anticipation of this celestial event, as we prepare to exit the year of the Snake - and along with it, releasing anything that no longer serves us. The Horse symbolizes an exciting forward momentum, an emergence of new ideas, and the freedom to explore our creativity with confidence and expansive energy.
Starting with a strengthening pilates class to center and align our minds and bodies, we will then shift into a guided intention setting workshop focused on reacquainting ourselves with our inner joy, being guided only by what resonates and inspires most within.
